Jennifer is a clinical psychologist with a doctoral degree and a wide range of experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds in the broader community, mental health sector, and in forensic settings. She has explored mindfulness and meditation over the past twenty years, including attending many retreats and teachings that inform and enrich her therapeutic approach.
Jennifer specialises in providing client-centred, empathic counselling and psychological treatment, with a focus on assisting clients in building a fulfilling, meaningful life. In addition to mindfulness-based interventions (including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and psychodynamic therapies, Jennifer’s approach also incorporates solution-focused and strength-based therapies that aim to support clients and help them in coping with a range of personal and mental health issues.
Jennifer also has a Master of Philosophy degree exploring the role of psychosocial developmental factors in music performance anxiety. She has an Honours degree in Music, and works with musicians experiencing performance anxiety and broader mental health challenges.
Jennifer is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society, and is endorsed as a clinical psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
